Static Soft started its career with producing games for Samsung's 8-bit home computer SPC-1000. The company's homepage claimed 30 titles delivered to Samsung. They kept supporting the conglomerate's home computers at least until 1989 with software, although the emergence of VDP units for the SPC-1000 in late 1986 ended their creative work and left them merely converting MSX games. Later games for the SPC-1500 were also all conversions from similar Japanese home computers. Afterwards, Static Soft continued business in various IT branches, but abandoned game development. On April 7th, 2005, the company changed its name to e.wall research co,. ltd.
