Spectravideo or SVI initially sold non-MSX compatible SVI-3x8 systems, then later came out with the MSX compatible SVI-7x8 systems. They also marketed various accessories for both the SVI-3x8 and SVI-7x8 systems.
The Quickshot joystick brand also originated at Spectravideo, but when Spectravideo in 1985 moved its HQ from the US to Hong Kong under its major shareholder Bondwell, the Quickshot brand became Bondwell Quickshot.
Spectravideo ceased operations in 1988
