The Castle & Castle Excellent Cheats

Hello, Does anyone knows any cheat codes that really works on the game for MSX, The Castle and Caslte 2 (Excellent)? I have a POKE code that I found on the Internet but when I run the game (both) with those POKEs, it simply reset the emulator or hangs it. I know that a POKE for that game exists because when I had my MSX computer, I finished the game The Castle with that. Now, after so many years, sure I had to lost my book with the POKE codes. Is there something that I have to do on the emulator to the POKE code work? Those POKEs code give yu infinite keys, start with the map, infinite lives and invunerability. I`d appreciate some help from the MSX community out there. Thanks!!! Felipe

How to run the .ROM file i was looking for the castel for a long time once i found i can't run it on me PC; some web site said somthing about flushing the BIOS, but i don't have any idea. Help please. I use a P4 processor 256 RAM Win XP pro

You must use a MSX emulator for PC . A rom file is indeed an image of the program that was on the MSX cartridge. I recommend you blueMSX : http://www.bluemsx.com

there is alot of games in the internet just use google searching engine and write in msx games,google will show you all the websites that contains the games but if anyone wants the emulator of msx games and software,can download it from the website: www.bluemsx.com

hi PepsiMan , I have finished both castle & castleX without any help. There is a trick that's true but it's not neccessory. I will show you the proper way of playing this game. have a look at the pics, this will get you to where the trick takes you too.

hi man, In this room u need to be quick and accurate, what u should do is once you start keep moving so that you fall down , but make sure you land a little bit before the candile and then jump over it big jump to the right then land as far as u can , then jump again about half or more to the end almost under the falling brick , but try to let go from the jump so that there is at least 1/2 a space between u and the brick. you must try this lots of time to get it working , good luck

Hi, First part: Well in this one what u do is the following:- Place the first red block from the right in that space on the left of the elevator and quickly go back jump over the 2nd block and push it all the way down to the left so that it falls above the 2 blue blocks. Second part: first push the multi-color block to the right , just before the list and then go back jump up then push the candle on the elevator then quickly jump up to the right hand corner just under the purple door and push it to the left and quickly go back to ur corner so that u don’t die . After u do that, push the candle 1/2 a push to the left but don’t drop it, make sure u do this as the list is going down only!!! now go to the multi color block push it on the elevator then very quickly go up all the way push the candle down to the left side then go back to the corner then push the multi-color block the same place the candle was , also push it 1/2 a push as the lift goes down . Last step: Push the blue on top of elevator then jump up push candle down to the elevator all the way to the left where the multi-color block used to be at the start of the game. Once u done that quickly go back top push multi-color block to the left and then push the blue block to the left side exactly as u did with others. now u done the blue 1 goes through the big elevator all the way up , to the left then down where the 2 other blue blocks are. I hope you can do it .

ho ho ho never mind my request above me because luckily I got it done.. some how in the power rainbow in the next room after I killed all witches .. it gave me power for more time.. so i managed to get throw the sharp objects in the picture 2 above... thanks any way... mary chrismas to you all.

no cheat codes, you can only load a room using a saved state file by pressing F4 at the start
