Hello , i'm new here and this is my first post and contribution . It's the disc scan of Sega OUT RUN .

Thanks. Is this indeed the MSX1 version? It was not known to me that there was a disk release of this versoin... Can you also post scans of the box, manual, etc?

I will try to make a image , the program i normaly use ( disk manager ) can not read the disk. Maybe you have a sugestion . Greets Gerrit

Did you try to read it as a single-sided image? Does the disk still work on a real MSX? You could make a disk image on a real MSX then... Alternatively, you could use Linux to read it if everything fails...

Yes the game is working on a real MSX , and i did read it as a singel-sided disc . I will try to make a copy and than try to make an image.

What exactly is the error you get in disk manager?

Disc Sector 0 cannot be read , Disc sector 1 cannot be read etc etc .

Well, no idea, so I get back to my other suggestions... Use for example on real MSX xsd.com and make an xsa disk image of it.

I was confused you need xsc.com... For example: http://www.msxcomputer.info/xsa-files I also have those tools, so if you have problems with the PMA file I can send them to you via e-mail.

Sorry , don't get a working image of the disk , i can make a copy of the whole disk but no image of it . Anybody suggestions , i tried all the programs i know .

I don't get a proper image of the disk ,all the programs give a error by reading the disk . Diskmanager , Dcopy , etc etc .

But you said you could make a copy of the whole disk, that does mean the disk is readable. Or did you mean you could copy the individual files? If you can copy the disk, I would expect the same errors as when making a disk image...

Manuel , I make the copy with my Amiga and the program X-Copy , this program copy's all the data of the disk incl. the errors and copy protection . When is look on my MSX for the files on the disk with the commando FILES , only the next message is showed on the screen ** OUTRUN ** .

Can you make a disk image on the Amiga? Alternatively: BiFi wondered if you can come to the next MCWF club meeting and bring the disk. Then he can take a look...

Manual , i can make a copy and send it by post to you maybe you can try to make a image of the disk. I will try to make a image on my Amiga .
